We all get the calls from moms who have a baby who is 3 months old and need
to introduce a bottle for what ever reason. At this age it is often difficult
to get the baby to accept the foreign nipple.
I had an innovative mom who after trying everything else finally got the baby
to take a bottle by slipping it while he was nursing then taking him gently
off the breast.
We sometimes use this trick in reverse for the nipple confused infant by
starting with the bottle and slipping in the breast. Apparently, for some
babies it will work in reverse.
Happy New Year to all
