I once corresponded with a doula who had trouble letting down for the pump
(for her 2 y.o. at home) when she was staying with her hospitalized and very
ill 8 y.o.

I suggested she try to do RPS firmly for 60 seconds or so, and she said that
solved her problem and brought an MER within 30-60 seconds every time she
tried it.
