>>"Diagnosed with PCOS in 2005. Took metformin in 2005-2006. metformin was
given because even though (she) did not have cysts, the doctor felt that
[there were] had enough other symptoms to suspect PCOS. Had consulted dr
because of weight gain and miscarriages, was tested for thyroid (function)
during pregnancy and also immediately after, all normal.

Mom wants to know: Is her age more of a factor in low supply or is the PCOS
more of a concern. And, if there is a subsequent pregnancy, what are the
recommendations of the lactation consultants?"<<

Yes and yes. Obviously there have been hormonal issues that have worsened
over time. Very poor history for past 10 years. I would love to know any
labs she has, and a description of her body, breasts, and PCOS symptoms. Any
test results. Breast growth during pregnancy. TSH.
