I'm a RN and a lactation intern. I work in a hospital and will be testing
in July. My next question is again regarding pumping. I have a mom who is
pumping because her baby went to another hospital's NICU. She is post op day
4 and large breasted. Her milk is in. She breatfed 2 other children for a
year each. She leaks out of the flanges while pumping and will get the
biggest size flange today. While pouring her milk into another container it
plops out/ she says it always clumps like that. I tried to look this up in
the breastfeeding answer book but can't really figure out what to call this.
Any ideas about this?
Thanks,
 Liz
