Thank you Liz Brooks for your excellent comments about family court and the
rights and needs of the baby.
One thing I am continually struck by, that our local family court
administrator taught me, is that most often these battles are just another
skirmish in the battle for control and intimidation by the partner.
Somehow it helps me to take a deep breath and see a bigger picture when I
remember that.
 (And the thought of that going on for another two decades, which it so
often does, makes me continually grateful for the kind and thoughtful man I
married.)
