Dear Cynthia-

A quickie...

I wish there was one quick convenient spot to check cultural differences
that might be a factor.  I remember reading in Lawrence (?) that Mexican
moms (?) think it unlucky if you praise the baby but don't touch him. (I may
have that wrong--don't have the book right here.)

It would be nice if there was a website that had stuff like this listed to
make it easier when doing helping with different cultures.  Of course, there
might be so many subtle differences that it wouldn't be feasible.
