My reply is that "most calcium channel blockers appear in
breastmilk in low amounts.  AAP considers most to be
compatible with breastfeeding.  Review data for each drug."
Norvasc, to me, would not be a first choice because of lack
of breastfeeding data and fact that it is long-acting.  Look
at the other calcium-channel blockers as possibilities if a
calcium-channel blocker is necessary.  If not necessary and
possible, Inderal is certainly a good alternative
