Breastfeeding dolls/stuffed critters, opens up another thought, too.
Careful, respectful and loving handling of even the most unusual
breastfeeding partner (a turtle, a doll, a favorite childhood elephant
(Karbach)) models loving behavior. It surprises me when people mention how
lovingly we handle our little stuffed friends, and I am always surprised
that someone would handle an elephant roughly, when putting him to breast.

Best wishes,
Sam Doak

We're going to Candy Mountain, Charlie!

<<Under the e-mail coaching of Esther Grunis, I prepared for a breakfast TV
appearance in Oslo (not my home town) this winter. One of the essential
items to have along was a doll for showing positioning and attachment. I use
a left-behind teddy bear at work but it is needed there every day so I
couldn't take it. ....
