>Good grief! Why don't they say the dog ate my breasts!

Oh Debbi, you wrote my recent thoughts exactly... ran into a woman today and
over a discussion on I am truly disappointed by Tupperware for promoting a
baby bottle in their new line (my comment was, "never had any use for one of
these, have two perfectly good ones right on my chest")... she says all
beaming, oh but I HAD to use a bottle, they took the baby away from me after
he was born and gave him a pacifier and he was sooooo big that he never
could get enough from me, I HAD to supplement and then HE weaned at 4 months....

What could I say? I smiled and nodded and ooh and ahh sympathetically asked
if she'd had any lactation help... oh yes I pumped but it was never
enough... then gave her my card/refrigerator magnet and moved along.

I am stumped. On the one hand I want to go over step by step what was said
and done in the management of her case that didn't need to have the outcome
be what it was...on the other hand it's water under the bridge, can't change
it, can only make her feel regretful of what she didn't know/do, on the
other hand (yes I know that makes three, g/d are you listening, we mom's
really do need three!) she might learn something that she would do
differently next time so not go through this....

So what to say what to say??? or not to say? that is the question... whether
'tis nobler to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or by
opposing, to end them? (roughly, from Hamlet)
