Hello,

It's Rita :),

I LOVE getting all this mail... especially since I am newbie to " the net".

First, let me tell you about myself: I am the mother of 4 Bf boys, ages 3.5
to 10 with about 2 to 2.5 yrs. between. I have been a LLL leader for 5+ yrs.
( currently reserve) and I have been involved with Bf in one way or another
for 10 years.

I became an IBCLC in 1993. In August of 94 I moved my private practice
outside my home and increased my quarterly income from $300 to $3000---can
you believe it! It's eaten by overhead but I'm optomistic.

Kathleen A. - I like the if you teach it they will come idea! But I do get
impatient from time to time.

Someday real soon I want to write an article for JHL about BF and Homeopathy
- I'm real green about writing so I'll need encouragement ;). My passions
are BF and homeopathy ( the only medicine we use in my home).

I also think thrush and nipple yeast to be a BIG topic---- I see soooo much
yeast.

Now for a case study:
Mom 40 yrs., vegetarian
Baby 6 m0s., 20# looks health and happy
Baby has bloody stools since January.
Bacterial and rotavirus cultures negative
Stool VERY green until she changed her diet---elinminated diary and wheat---
now they are yellow but he still has bloody ones every two days or so...
sometimes in flecks or in strands of mucus.
The baby also has excema behind ears and in joints.
Any ideas?

yours,

Rita Ippolito Warren ([log in to unmask])
