Thanks for sharing the abstract. When my youngest was born
at 34 weeks, they did test him in his car seat before d/c
from the NICU and in fact, he did have problems. We got
a loaner of a car "seat" in which my son could lie flat
and still be buckled in.
I can't remember how long he was in it, probably a month
or so, then he was in the regular infant seat and was fine.
