'Just a quick update on the case of the baby with the dislocated clavicle
that no one diagnosed (I clued in when called to assist in a non-nursing 9
day old). Well, I have delightful news. After being followed and checked
in (by phone or email) on every few days, at about 8 weeks of age after many
chirpractic adjustments and massages--plus homeopathy, the "clavicle baby"
began nursing. The mom is ecstatic to the point of tears every time she
talks to me. It is so true that we have to HAVE FAITH IN THE PROCESS. If
you didn't read the original post on this case, it was quite a remarkable
case of a baby who was forced to the breast and developed a severe aversion
to breastfeeding (because i t hurt). The baby had no formula during this
"back to the breast time" and baby was fed EBM via Haberman after mom gave
up on the SNS as too much work. Thank you all for your support in this
triumphant case.
