What do you mean by weight, and what does she mean by weight? (Metric?)

Are you trying to calculate needed calories, or needed fluid?

How old is the baby? Are we talking about a newborn? (I presume so, as you
mention the nursery nurse.)

What kind of a baby? Full-term, well infant, or preterm or sick or what?
