Well, the concern would be lessened, but I wouldn't say eliminated.  If
there is no lactogenesis, then there will be no concentration of
radioactivity in the breast.  Even if the milk is removed regularly,
there would still be more exposure to the breast if it is actively
lactating.  Another one of those "relative risk" situations.   The mom
just needs to understand the options and risks involved.  I would never
tell a mom what to do.

NOT good to nurse up to that day, and stop suddenly, because the I-131
is actually concentrated in breastmilk...so radioactivity will be
