Biological nurturing is more and more mainstream here.....we 
certainly teach it as an option in all our antenatal classes and we 
all suggest it when we see mothers face to face if the are problems 
with positioning and attachment, 'fighty' stressed baby, or just as a 
nice thing the mother might like to do :)  Personally, I have had 
many excellent results with it - there is sometimes a resistance from 
mothers but this does not always persist.

I like it a lot. It is very flexible and adapts well to different body sizes.

More and more hospital maternity units are using this option, too.

There is sound theory behind it, too.

I would say there is no argument against it at all...it's just a 
question of ensuring everyone knows about it - not just mothers but 
HCPs.
