I thought your "experiment" was great.  Thanks for the laugh, or should I
say the tears.  Maybe your little exercise will show people just how
heartbreaking this style of parenting can be.

I have been struck, lately, by how much our society is into detaching
people from their emotions, denying the validity of what we feel.  Sad.
