Got a news flash last night from ABC Radio Australia --hoped to wake up to
find much more this morning, but so far, not.  Would like to see a
corroboration:

China to ban breast-milk substitutes
 
China's Ministry of Health is to ban the promotion of breast-milk
substitutes and to step up efforts to monitor laws regulating marketing.

This follows a drop in the rate of exclusively breast-fed infants, less than
four months old -- from 76 percent in 1998 to 67 percent..

The drop has been partially attributed to widespread advertising by
producers of breast-milk substitutes....
