Did I dream this? Hasn't there been some research that suggests that even
if breastmilk is aspirated, it isn't harmful because it is so "natural" and
readily absorbed?

Anyone who has seen the video will agree that babies CAN lap and swallow easily!

BTW, my grown son is better but still not well. He can now drink liquids
and eat soft foods without vomiting but is on reglan, propulsid and
provasid, all of which are making him a walking zombie. Doctors cannot
agree on a diagnosis....Any more ideas? It was breastmilk that turned him
around 2 weeks ago, but the gastroenterologist told me that breastmilk for
an adult was "ridiculous" unless he was desperate. I replied that he WAS
desperate, having gone 2 weeks without ANY calories except glucose. He
didn't make any more comments, just asked me what a lactation consultant
was....A highly regarded specialist who was showing his IGNORANCE???
Thank you for all your prayers and concern for Joe.
