FDA issues alert for recall on powdered infant formula

Amanda Rheubert was relieved an X-ray showed no metal in her baby's system. The formula she had given him last week was recalled because a batch contained metal particles.

Rheubert, who works for the News-Sun, said she learned the Enfamil Gentlease Powdered Infant Formula she had given her 8-week-old son had been recalled when her aunt called Friday about a news item she saw.
