Folic acid is important at the time of conception/pregnancy. Just tell her
to be careful for now re: sex.

According to our fave pharmacist Mature milk contains 33.4 ng/ml of folic
acid and folic acid is actively secreted in mom's milk even if mom is
deficient. He gives several ref .

I goggled cow's milk and got a comparison chart. Human milk 5.2 and cow's
milk 5.0, goat milk is deficient in folic acid at 1. Formula has 10! she
uses ug/ml

This is probably one where the benefits of immunity outweigh the risk of
folic acid, but I'm not a chemist :-( Pat in SNJ
