Congratulations on your research, Angie, and all the best with your thesis
defence. Yes, definitely publish! Publication puts the information "out
there" and accessible to people beyond your institution and this Lactnet
list - but you know this, anyway. Too often valuable research sits on a
shelf and isn't disseminated.

I am defending my thesis on October 16th on breastfeeding perceptions and
practices of Registered Dietitians in MN. I explore this idea of how
attitudes can make such an influence in practice and that even if you do not
work directly with moms and babies; professional practices towards facility
policies, supervising of staff, and even interactions with friends and
family are so detrimental to the normal act of breastfeeding. I also talk
about how every healthcare profession needs to include USBC's Core
Competencies in their curriculum. I am hoping to have it published after I
get the final "okay" and officially graduate. If I do, I will be sure to
share with the group :)
