Rachel, You wrote and excellent letter and I especially like your statement
below:

"It seems to be an infant feeding bottle, an
object which has come to represent the cause of much ill health, unhappiness
and even death in infants the world over."

I recently wrote letters to two separate magazines for nurses in which
photographs of babies being fed bottles appeared for recruitment ads.
Hopefully, I'll receive a positive response as you did. If the health care
profession can't begin to be more aware of the impact and influence of bottle
laden artwork/photos, how can we expect the rest of society to acknowledge
breastfeeding as the norm?

It's discouraging to see bottle feeding represented everywhere, yet
encouraging when consciousness is raised and letter writing effects change.
Thanks for sharing, Rachel; I feel encouraged.
