Recently gave a presentation for the local AWOHNN meeting on emerging roles
for the OGN nurse. Part of the presentation was giving info on LC
certification. Got IBLCE brouchures directly from JoAnne Scott, Executive
Director, so they must be the most up-to-date available. The brouchure
outlines the alternatives or "pathways" for meeting the eligibility
requirements, two of which require a bachelors degree or higher. None of the
pathways require a BSN specifically. For more specific info one could contact
the IBLCE International office, PO Box 2348, Falls Church VA 22042-0348 USA.

The IBLCE's newsletter the "IBCLICK!" Vol 1 Issue 1, also outlines current
requirements for recertification (among other terrific news items and
articles).
