I just checked out that website with all the fees...

Interesting as I don't get paid (as in the insurance companies do not pay me)
anywhere near these fees for newborn care (the basic stuff that pediatricians
do).  Medicaid certainly would not pay for services at this level.

I doubt that any of this care is billed to insurance companies.  Rather
parents are expected to pay out of pocket for this care.

Don't pack your bags yet for California ... the services listed most likely
exist outside of the managed care (most of care in California) environment.
