I have a client who is scheduled for surgery on Monday to repair a rectal
fissure.  Baby is 3 weeks old.  They want to put her on Ativan 3X day for 1
week to control post-op muscle spasms.

We're not comfortable with having her breastfeed on this medication after
reading Dr. Hale.

Does anyone have any suggestions for an alternative medication that would be
approved by the AAP?
