Mira, from anecdotal reports from my Jewish clients, I believe the rabbi
will not do the circumcision unless the baby's bilirubin level is 10 or
less.  A few years ago I worked with a baby who had breastmilk jaundice for
*weeks*.  Parents were going demented as family were coming for the occasion
from Europe and South Africa - paediatrician was very sure it was only
breastmilk jaundice, but it simply had to be postponed again and again, the
rabbi wouldn't budge.
