I am posting with the permission of an antepartum mom who has questions
about possible meds she may need after delivery. She developed/was diagnosed
with severe ulcerative colitis during this (her first) pregnancy. She has
been on TPN for adequate nutrition. She has been researching which drugs
used in treating ulcerative colitis are or might be compatible with
breastfeeding. One drug that I could not find in Medications and Mother's
Milk is infliximab. This is a drug that is newly approved for treatment of
ulcerative colitis. I am currently no mail so please respond to me privately
