Susan,
I have often been referred to by patients (as well as other nurses who are
not OB) as the "lactating nurse". Something I have not been able to do for
a good 25 years. And on Mondays (my scheduled day for working with
breastfeeding moms) I am not a "real nurse" (RN), just lactating thank you.
