Tawn,  I just want to say that at 4 mo old most formulas would be ok for 
baby.  If there is no family history of milk sensitivities, I would just recommend 
a cow's milk based formula if needed.   I don't think a 'special formula" would 
be necessary as "gut closure' is pretty done and cross feeding issues are rare 
at her age  .   Slow flow silicone nipples would be good.
Best wishes to your sister.  She is so courageous and thoughtful to keep up 
her breastfeeding.  Make sure she has a really good quality pump!
