It's been hard to find research about a nursing mom drinking kombucha. Our NICU has deemed it (along with Hale) cat.5.  I can't make sense of that. Why would the fermenting bacteria get into the milk? Is it the alcohol content that is offensive? All I'm finding is anecdotal evidence.  I'm curious to hear what any of you know and/or do. Thanks.
