Hi Alicia
This sort of thing must make your blook boil!! (I know mine does). I have
a reference about the benefits of community support groups:
Kyenkya-Isabirye M and Magalheas R Int J Gynecol Obstet 1990;31:85-90
"The Mothers' support group role in the health care system"
(describes benefits of support groups and ways to spread these skills on
a global scale)

According to them, the hospital should not be
>endorsing LLL (although we do not name LLL nor give a phone #). My
>friend pointed out that this is one of the 10 steps, and was asked to
>provide research to support the usefulness of community support groups.
