Just wanted to add to my previous post that there are, obviously, many many
foods that can be eaten raw, including fish and oatmeal, as well as the more
obvious fruits, vegetables, nuts.  But still, parents need to be especially
careful with infants and toddlers to keep them safe from bacteria and
viruses.  I wouldn't give any child raw meat, eggs, or milk.
