I also want to comment about Kathy's work for the JHL - many times
work like this goes unappreciated.  This type of work is so valuable - yet
doesn't always received the glory it really deserves.  The comments about
moving the profession forward are so true - Thanks to your efforts we are
being recognized as professionals - not always - but it is definately a start!
        I am impressed that you have been able to contribute numerous hours
of work without burnout - it is hard to put such time and effort in without
feeling you are working alone or being appreciated.
        Thank you - for your work and what you mean to IBCLCs and lactation!
