Duh, this cream has been shown to be virtually not absorbed from the
skin. Only 5% of the total dose is absorbed by the mother. This drug
is derived from vitamin D and exhibits vitamin D like effects, as potent
as 1,25 (0H)2D3.

So, I thought pediatricians said babies need extra vitamin D. What is
the matter with these people.

Answer to my own question: Because they don't think. Because they
don't take the trouble to find out what the effects of the drugs they
prescribe are. Because they don't think breastfeeding is worth anything
at all. Well, I don't think their answer is worth anything at all.
