I would ask more questions about *how* the dr. ruled out reflux.  Having
recently listened on tape to Susan Boekel's great presentation on GER, (a
RD, IBCLC who presented on this @ILCA 2000) I wonder if this baby might not
have GER & the dr. missed it.  It can be difficult to pin down--lots of
false negatives, dep on what tests dr. used.  The parents could try the
comfort measures for reflux & see if it helps.  And/or consider a second
opinion.
