To clarify:

It is not known whether the infant given to the mother is or is not HIV+.
Although the hospital will not comment, it is understood that it is the
mother of the changling that is HIV+. Babies were born in April and more
tests are due to be done in October. The cross-nursing mom decided not to
breastfeed her own infant, and is suing because she could not breastfeed
her own baby. Personally, this would not have kept me from nursing my own
baby. Risks v. benefits, I'll take breastfeeding. My question is, where
was this woman's baby while she was nursing another?
