I didn't end up having anyone attend the presentation because the
demographic was older and more interested in the sessions about heart health and
diabetes and  such,
~~~ Hello all,
Can we ever see the day where the people presenting the information on
diabetes and heart health actually mention the word "breastfeeding" in their
own  presentations, as a factor? Perhaps then even directing the "older" folks
to the  presentation that might have an impact on the health of the next
generation/help  them be supportive of their future grandchildren's health and
well-being? I  understand why those other sessions could be quite
important, but maybe we could  get away from this dualistic thinking, where things
are either about one thing  or another, but instead where all health
information is somehow about all of us,  since we're all in this world together?
Peace,
Judy, musing on what feels like a Monday morning...
