I don't know of any carpal tunnel cases from continuing to use the cross
cradle hold, but I do encourage mums to start using the cradle hold as soon
as they can, once breastfeeding is going well. The cross cradle hold is so
awkward looking and very hard to do discreetly. But it's great in the early
days or weeks.
