Hello again,
I want to thank all who have replied for my question on getting domperidone. My client is going to try inhousepharmacy.com.
I have another situation. A mom had complained about some greenish discharge and deep breast pain. I wanted her to follow up with her physician. She had an infection and then he referred her to a surgeon. She told her that it was probably a galactocele and that because she had started on antibiotics so quickly it hasn't changed to an abscess.
I read in lawrence that cessation doesn't need to stop in lactation but usually it is surgically removed when lactation is ended. She is the only breast surgeon in this area. She didn't breastfeed and is not very breastfeeding friendly. The mom is convinced she needs to stop for her own health. Her baby is 5 months old and she and baby enjoy nursing. Any opinions or new information out there for me. Please feel free to email me privately. [log in to unmask]
Warmly,
Terri Klein RN IBCLC RLC
