The problem is 99% of our midwives are not practicing the midwifery model.
It is so sad.  They induce maybe a little less than the Docs but once they
are in the hospital the pitocin is used almost as frequently.  Meds and
epidurals are just about as commonly used also.  It is a sad state of
affairs.
