My previous message on Compazine was sent by my computer without my knowledge
before I finished!  I am serious.  So here is the message as it was intended to

        A safer alternative appears to be promethazine (Phenergan).
        See Hale's comments in his latest book edition plus the following
article that concludes that quantities of phenothiazines excreted into milk are
probably harmless:

        Pons G, Rey, E, Matheson I.  Excretion of psychoactive drugs into
breastmilk.  Clin Pharmacokinet 1994; 27:270=289.
