  As a "group" who actively promotes babys being with their mothers I think
that it is a contradiction for us to not allow babys at our conferences...

  the water gets muddy when mother's do not take noisy/distracting babys out
of the room ...

   I have attended many a confrence when audience "chatter" entering and
exiting the room etc was more distracting than nursing babies.

    this is a very difficult issue.
