Laurie,
I use this also but what is the current thinking on how many ounces
baby needs in the first week of life? I thought they need much less that first
week. When I give the 2.5 ounces per pound of body weight equation to a mom
with a 4 day old I often see panic in the eyes of the parents as they try to
figure out how to determine how to get 20-24 ounces in. shouldn't it be much less
this early on? How should that be tackled? Heather
