It seems that only in North America are we concerned about cabbage having
an adverse effect on milk production. Could this be yet another reflection
of our (almost knee-jerk) worries about not making enough? When I was in
Australia and New Zealand, cabbage therapy was widely used (also in South
Africa and other places I am sure) and no one in these three areas worried
about too much cabbage = not enough milk. They used it, cold or room temp
(see the two articles in JHL in 1995) and found it helpful. Period.

Have we seen people who used cabbage too long, too much, too many times and
found they had not enough milk? Until we can verify that this is a
legitimate concern, we may want to think twice before suggesting this is an
issue we need to be worried about.

Next on the soap box.... :-)
