I want to quickly point out a great new poster series from the Massachusetts Breastfeeding Coalition focusing on "las dos," which is an expression used by some Spanish speaking mothers in the U.S. to mean "breast and bottle."

The Coalition, under the great leadership of Melissa Bartick, put together these posters to promote exclusive breastfeeding after reviewing the research and conducting some focus groups. Part of the message, which is presented with a little humor, is that supplementing reduces milk supply - something Latina mothers who were interviewed for the project said they didn't know.

I wrote about them on the Motherwear Blog here, where you can see one: http://breastfeeding.blog.motherwear.com/2010/08/new-breastfeeding-posters-with-slogan-created-by-my-husband.html

They can be purchased for use anywhere!
