No.

but I was for many years until, seemingly without notice to members, ILCA made 
non-IBCLCs 2nd class members..

I did not renew. I emailed ILCA, I completed a survey, I had no response from the 
office.  

I was one of the original group contacted by JoAnne Scott formed worldwide to 
discss the idea of a 'lactation consultant' pre-IBLCE... 

I had been supportive of ILCA for a long time. 

There are others, as Nina mentioned, who are not members of organizations for 
different reasons - and many experts and advocates who choose not to be 
IBCLCs or members of ILCA.
