KAren, as anecdotal info only, I have used my breastmilk for both of these
things with my 19 mo old son. It worked great! The pink eye cleared up
almost immediately (he had been on eye drops for a couple of days for the
condition with no improvement). I remember way back when someone (sorry
don't remember who!) talked about, was it, interlucins, and how they work
with the body. My thought about the interlucins (sp?) was that they would be
better for a baby with a stuffy nose, athan the saline drops. More gentle
too, I would think. Anyone care to comment on the interlukins?
