I personally used grapefruit seed extract after the pediatrician didn’t believe we had thrush.  It worked quickly and amazingly well.

I put about 10-20 drops of GSE in 2 oz of distilled water in a small sterilized squirt bottle.  I sprayed it on my nipples after each feeding.  Then I would apply a small amount of nipple cream (bamboobies or lanolin is what I had around).  In addition, I took GSE tablets daily for 2 weeks.  I live in CA and purchased the Nutribiotic brand from Sprouts, but it can be found on Amazon as well.

I noticed the effects immediately and did not have to do any treatments for my son.  I also had some cracking and milk blebs and it even seemed to help with the pain.
