I am feeling a little (maybe alot) misunderstood right now. So I really
appreciate the words of Naomi Bar-Yam, "Our job is to educate, support &
inform. The decision to breastfeed, how much to breastfeed, when to breastfeed
belong to the mother." I think that I will post that message so that others
may understand my philosophy. My hospital coworkers often think that I am a
fanatic (or is the word zealot?) because I tell them to avoid giving babies
bottles and pacifiers in the hospital. Babies need to be with their mothers &
practice breastfeeding in the 1st few days of life. How can you get the
message across to those who don't seem to here it? Help! I'm in need of a few
kind words here! Helpful suggestions are also welcome!
Feeling a bit frustated in central Florida!
