Nikki notes,
<< At a conference once, someone
tossed out the fact that as many as 70% of women in the US are depressed at
one time or another. That is a horrendous situation. What about our lives
makes us down? What is wrong with our society that so many women are down? >>
Oh Nikki, I don't think we even want to begin to go there....!!! That is a
discussion for a whole 'nuther listserv & time....
I agree that people who feel they need St. John's Wort need to be seen by a
competent health professional rather than self medicating. The point still
is, even if they are being seen, they need to know if they can take the
specific drug/herb/homeopathic remedy that has been recommended/prescribed.
And that's where we come in....
Jan Barger -- in Wheaton where the paper says 77 on Easter Sunday and the TV
weatherman says 60. Who to believe?
